A busy Halloween weekend

both socially and in the work sense - will tell you more later.
For now I will post a couple of pumpkin pics and mostly leave it at that.

The pumpkin carver and his apprentice.Note the cat shadow cast on the wall behind the pumpkin, but the flesh was too thick so it didn't work as well as he had hoped.On the other hand the cat looked great straight-on.These are the monsters - the kids both wanted scary ones!Halloween is not a big tradition in Australia, and not a big tradition here either. But having a Canadian in the family changes all that. I now really enjoy it and the kids do too - will tell you why: tomorrow.
