It was so lovely to get up here on Friday, to the serenity, the peace, to our own space. (uncle) Gabriele came up with us,Kaylee (Mark’s daughter) came up Saturday with her dog Cura and Miriam (aunt) and Mark arrived on Sunday for the night. Everyone was gone by lunchtime on Tuesday, ready to start work Wednesday, everyone but us.
It has been great to have the company, the kids love it and the place is alive and buzzing. Always things happening, someone to talk to, someone to play with the kids, cook and clean up after dinner, go for a walk with or just sit and chat to.
It was very quiet once everyone left but even more peaceful and tranquil than it had felt on Friday – and nice to find our own equilibrium again as a family.
