Not sure when the holiday will start…..
We have gardened, repaired, cleaned, sorted, organised, re-organised and discarded many things in the last week. We have turned the place upside down, making more mess than we bargained for. It has been refreshing, liberating and …… sad…….. to go through the place getting rid of anything that is broken, unwanted, no longer needed, past its use-by date or just too useless or ugly to any longer have a place in the cottage.
It feels endless , and it is not over yet. But it is getting close and the place looks so much better for it!
